Sunday Runs
Every Sunday, the GGRC meets at Crissy Field in San Francisco at 10:00 AM — plenty of time to get over your hangover from the night before. We welcome any and all people on our runs. Typically, we cover anywhere from four to twelve miles, at anywhere from an eight-minute mile to a ten-minute mile, but don't worry — we make sure nobody gets left behind, and if we do a long run there's usually a group that cuts it shorter.
If you'd like to join us, take a look at the map below. If you're driving, take Marina Street down past the Marina and bear right onto Mason Street as you continue next to Crissy Field; take it all the way down to the end, and you'll see the Warming Hut building. (The Warming Hut is a sort of combined Crissy Field gift shop, information center, and café.) You can find photos of the area here.
If you show up at 10:00 sharp and there's nobody there yet, just be patient; sometimes a few of us stragglers get there just a little late. However, we nearly always leave by 10:15 AM — don't be late!
Here's a map of the entire area, in case you're from beyond San Francisco or a little unfamiliar with the area:
