A Workout Routine You Look Forward To
Sunday Fun Run
Our weekly Sunday run is all about community, conversation, and great views - chatty miles are encouraged 💙. Sun or fog, that’s part of the fun. We start at 10:00 AM, so you can still get your beauty sleep.
Meet-up locations and routes vary by week (with a recurring monthly rotation). Scroll down for full Sunday details.
Wednesday Track Workout
Midweek speed work under the lights (or sun) at Kezar Stadium 🏟️. Wednesday Track is where we get in our structured workouts - all levels welcome, with plenty of encouragement along the way.
If you haven’t run on a track since high school PE, no worries. This is about showing up, putting in the work, and doing it together. We usually stretch after and head out for food or drinks as a group.
Ac Hoc Runs
In addition to our weekly Sunday and Wednesday runs, you’ll often find ad hoc runs popping up throughout the week, organized by members and shared in our Slack channels.
Some days it’s an easy shakeout, other days it’s a longer adventure - and yes, for those training for half or full marathons, these can turn into 10, 15, or even 20+ mile runs through San Francisco and beyond.
Whether you’re building endurance, training for a race, or just looking for company on longer miles, there’s usually something happening - and if not, you’re always welcome to start one.
Sunday Run
When: Every Sunday @ 10:00 AM
Where we meet:
Most Sundays: Warming Hut at Crissy Field (south side of the building, facing the picnic tables)
Every 3rd Sunday of the month: McLaren Lodge in Golden Gate Park
Sunday Runs typically offer two regular route options, depending on the mood (and the legs):
Bay → Fort Mason: A scenic, mostly flat out-and-back along the waterfront
Presidio Loop: A hillier option with sustained elevation
Routes usually include multiple distance options (around 5 miles flat or 7 miles with elevation) and are always no drop.
From time to time, we’ll mix in special routes and adventure runs —- including trips to the Marin Headlands, Lands End, and beyond. Unless otherwise announced, the above meet up locations apply.
Wednesday Track
When: Every Wednesday @ 6:15 PM
Where: Kezar Stadium - meet on the south side of the track
Each week features a different speed workout, designed to be approachable and adjustable across paces and experience levels. Whether you’re training for a race or just looking to add some speed to your week, you’ll fit right in.
All workouts are no drop, and modifications are always available.
Do I need to be a certain fitness or experience level?
Short answer: no.
Some members are training for Boston, others are gearing up for a 10K, and plenty are just here to run for fun. We have a wide range of experience and fitness levels across the group.
If you’re new to running or not sure where you fit, you’re especially welcome. Our Wednesday track workouts are a great way to find others at your pace, and all of our runs are designed to be supportive, inclusive, and no drop.
